More than just a roadway, the 6th Avenue Corridor is a vital link through Stillwater and serves as a connection between various sections of the community. The corridor study will examine how best to develop better north/south connections and maximize human scale development in areas adjacent to 6th Avenue.

    Thank you to everyone who attended the information meeting last night at the community center. The team received some great feedback on the proposed active transportation system, potential amenities, and possible redevelopment ideas associated with the active transportation network.

    We will post the presentation from the meeting and various presentation boards so individuals can provide feedback as we begin to prepare a final draft of the plan. Interested individuals can provide comments by asking a question, submitting an idea, or taking one of the active survey questions located under the survey tab. You can also look at individual concepts in the photos section.

    Public Input Meeting #2 will be on August 25th from 5:30-7pm at the Stillwater Community Center. Please join us in the theater as we discuss the proposed bike/pedestrian corridors and how they connect various parts of the community along the corridor.

    Thank you to everyone who attended the Public Visioning Meeting on March 31st at the Stillwater Community Center! Your input is greatly appreciated and extremely valuable. We had 96 community members in attendance.

    We will have the questions listed in survey form on this survey tab of this page so individuals can provide additional input over the next month, as well as the visual preference boards so people can vote on those as well.

    The Advisory Committee met on March 10, 2021 for its second meeting. The group discussed land use patterns, connectivity issues for all modes of transportation, how redevelopment can be focused to maximize community benefit, parking, aesthetics, and other issues related to the areas along the corridor.
